Yes, when it is done with the right settings. Wool and wool blends are cleaned with a cooler rinse, a wool-safe pre-spray and a strong dry pass so the fibre is never left wet. We test a hidden spot first, and if a carpet is not suited to extraction we will tell you before we start rather than risk it.
Yes. Stairs are cleaned by hand, one tread at a time, so the risers and the edges against the wall get the same attention as the worn centre of each step. They are usually booked together with the upstairs bedrooms so the whole upper floor comes up evenly, and they dry quickly because each tread is small.
