Carpet tiles and the low-moisture approach
Most office carpet is modular tile or a glued-down low loop pile over a hard subfloor. It soils in the same lanes a home does, from the lift to the kitchen, around printers and under chairs, but it cannot be cleaned the same way: flooding carpet tiles can lift the edges or break down the adhesive, and glued broadloom traps moisture against the slab.
We use hot water extraction with controlled moisture and more extraction passes, pre-treat the lanes with a solution suited to the oily soil office carpet collects, and groom the pile so chair-castor areas recover. Floors are typically dry within a few hours and always by the next working day when we clean after hours.
