Unley is an inner-southern suburb straight down Unley Road from the city, with its council chambers, the Unley Shopping Centre and a strip of cafes and shops along the road, and streets of villas, bungalows and cottages behind them. It is a sought-after, well-kept suburb with a mix of long-term owners, young professionals renting character homes and apartments along the main road.
The character homes of Unley are bluestone villas, sandstone-fronted bungalows and workers' cottages, many renovated with polished floorboards in the hall and living areas and carpet kept in the bedrooms, often a quality wool or wool-blend carpet in neutral tones. Some have a rear extension with a carpeted family room. Apartments and townhouses along Unley Road and near the shopping centre have synthetic carpet in the bedrooms and are frequently rented. Unley questions
In most cases yes. Each mark is pre-treated with a product suited to what it is and safe for wool, then the whole room is hot water extracted so the treated spots do not stand out. Some makeup dyes and very old coffee can leave a faint shadow, and we will show you what to expect before we start.
Yes. We clean every carpeted room in the apartment, treat any marks, and leave a dated receipt that names the address, which is what the Unley agents usually ask for. Let us know if the building has a lift booking or parking arrangement and we will fit in with it.
